Jiaxing International Convention & Exhibition Center

Jiaxing International Convention and Exhibition Center neighbors Jiaxing Nanhu scenic area and faces Yingbing Avenue in the administration center of the city, a location that enjoys superior resources in economy, technology, culture, landscape and living of the future CBD.

The east part of the site is arranged for outdoor exhibitions, including a central entrance hall, a central ecological corridor, exhibition halls and conference centers. The main building of the project consists of two floors above the ground and one basement level in part. The single-storey exhibition hall features a column-free space dimensioned 65m in width and 108m in length. Two exhibition halls form a unit, and four units form the main body of the Center. On the first floor locate the exhibition spaces and equipment rooms, the conference area and visitor entrance are on the second floor, and functional spaces such as offices can be found on the mezzanine floor.

On the first floor and mezzanine floor of the north-south central ecological corridor are conference rooms with supporting spaces, canteens and storage, while the first floor and mezzanine floor of the east-west corridor are used for catering. An atrium is formed at the intersection of the ecological corridor and the landscape green wedge, which accommodates multiple functions of exhibition, entertainment and recreation. The artificial waterfalls and roof greening introduce green plants and water features into the convention and exhibition space, interpreting the essence of water towns in the Yangtze River Delta region. In this way, an ecological convention and exhibition complex in harmony with natural environments comes into being.
